The Future is #CMYK Poster
I designed this large poster for an upcoming exhibition contest sponsored by the Philly AIGA, the professional association for design. The poster title is The Future is #CMYK. CMYK refers to the four inks used in the color printing process: cyan, magenta, yellow and key (black). All other colors are made from CMYK. The pantone swatch at the bottom comes from a Pantone book that designers/artists use to choose and match colors for projects.
#Design2Unite is an open call for designs that promote love, inclusion, acceptance and unity in a non-partisan way. AIGA judges will choose the work for an exhibition in February 2017.
What do you see?
What am I trying to communicate? Is there a subversive message?
How would you interpret the images I am using?
